We’re really excited over here at Carson Systems headquarters!

Our SXSW panel idea “Barenaked App – the Figures Behind the Top Web Apps” just got approved and will be on March 12th from 10:00 – 11:00am.

Hope you’ll join us! If you’ve built a successful web app, are looking for great publicity, and are willing to share vital figures (for building, maintaining, revenue and profit) please get in touch. You can reach me at [my first name @ carsonsystems d-o–t c–om]

Thanks Allen and Adam. Look forward to seeing you there 🙂

  5. This will be my first SXSW and here’s yet another kickass panel that I can’t wait to see. Hope I catch up with you down there… would be nice to share an elevator in Boston AND Austin. 🙂

  6. I will be there Ryan – looking forward to writing up some coverage of your panel. I hope one day, I will be one of your “I’m Reading” sites over there >>> on the right. 🙂

I actually think you’re over estimating it! sxsw is a big festival consisting of a very large number of non-invited speakers. It’s more social festival than professional conference.

From a business point of view how do you justify doing this considering you won’t get paid anything (am I right on that?), the preparation time and relatively small exposure (compared to the time you could spend on other ways of marketing)?

I think you’re under estimating how big of an influence SXSW has on the industry. To be involved in a panel is a very valuable PR opportunity.

  11. That’s great news Ryan – should be a great session.
