LearnWin a Limited Edition Tea Towel Designed by Mike Kus

writes on March 30, 2011

If you’re anything like the Carsonified team, you’ve probably collected a whole wardrobe of freebie web industry t-shirts over the years. We wanted to celebrate our amazing FOWD London 2011 line up with a fun giveaway, but another t-shirt..? We thought you might like something a little bit different for a change πŸ™‚

So our designer, Mike Kus, has put together these awesome “Class of 2011” tea towels! They feature our Main Stage line up in classic old school tea towel style (and we think they’d look as nice in a frame as they would hanging by your kitchen sink!)

There are only a few of these beauties in existence, and Mike recently announced the fact that he’s moving on – so this is your last chance to grab a piece of his amazing Carsonified design work!

How To Get One…

  1. Leave a quick comment on this post, telling us why you want a tea towel! (We’ll select 5 winners.)Β UPDATE: We have our winners!
  2. Retweet this post. (Again, we’ll select 5 winners.)Β UPDATE: We have our winners!
  3. Be one of the next 20 people to book your FOWD London pass – and come meet the Class of 2011 for yourself!

If you’re not one of our lucky winners but still want a memento of the FOWD Class of 2011, you can grab a high quality copy of the artwork here πŸ™‚

Best of luck everyone! Here are some more pictures…

I actually won one lol I’m still miffed how the wife will react when I slyly place it in the kitchen πŸ˜›

    Thanks guys

  3. Love it….however, i’m holding out for the tea cosy!

  4. It’ll be a constant reminder that everyone on the towel started somewhere – with a lot of hard work. Blood, sweat and tears. Wipe my face up and continue forging ahead and I will make it.

  5. I always listen to the Think Vitamin Radio podcast while doing the washing up. This can’t be a coincidence!

I want one because I have never had one of my daughters appear on a teatowel before – and may never again.

  7. Booked my FOD:London ticket already. Can’t wait ^-^
I’ve heard great things from last years so when 2011 popped up I made sure I had enough saved to get a flight out from Australia. Not long now!!

  8. great and eye catching and puts” fun” in to drying the dishes

Just refurbished my kitchen so the coffers are low and can’t afford a FOWD ticket this year, but this tea towel would be icing on the cake and I’d hang it over my oven handle with all my geeky pride!

  10. woohoo teatime!

  11. Why wouldn’t I want it? I mean, seriously, it is awesome.

  12. I already have far too many tea-towels, but I’m entering on behalf of Dan Rubin’s mother – if I win, just send it to her. Every mother should have a tea-towel with their son’s face on it!

  13. To further cement my standing in the house as HEAD GEEK. RAAR

I want one, because to put it bluntly I need one, lol seriously, that and the fact that I’m a sloppy bastard, my food is all over the place I swear, you should see me when I have spaghetti bolognese. I mean it’s like eating with the Cookie Monster whilst he is having a seizure.

  15. Did someone mention Tea?… Oh! Tea Towel, never mind…

  16. Jealous I can’t be there across the Pond…

  17. I want to win one ’cause english is not my mother-language and I don’t know how to perfectly translate tea-towel!
But I really love the Tea and when I drink it I always get my hands wet!
So I’ll need it to dry me clean, not only on that embarassing situation!

  27. I need one to dry my tears after one too many “Do you work for Apple?” comments πŸ˜€

  28. Give me the fucking tea towel.

  29. Ooo. Gimme. My cups need drying!

  35. ‘Tea Towel’ – I had to Google it. Great idea!

  36. I am an undercover superhero, but have unfortunately lost my cape πŸ™

I would use this tea towel as my cape of flight, and fly across the globe, helping in the fight against wet dishes everywhere!

  37. I’m a student; current tea towels looking a little worse for wear…

  38. …because i really mike this style, they look so kusome!

  39. I promise to hold a #FOWD tea party if I win. I am not guaranteeing that it won’t involve throwing tea into the ocean. πŸ™‚
