The Little Book on CoffeeScript

Have you heard about CoffeeScript? It’s an awesome language that helps smooth out some of JavaScript’s rough corners, and since CoffeeScript compiles into JavaScript you can use it anywhere you’d normally use JavaScript, like in the browser or on servers using Node.js. I’ve been doing a ton of scripting with CoffeeScript for different small system maintenance tasks and have just started working on using it instead of JavaScript for a few different projects and have really enjoyed it.

The guys at Arcturo recently released an eBook written by Alex MacCaw about CoffeeScript, called The Little Book on CoffeeScript, that helps you dive into programming with CoffeeScript. It’s a great, quick read, and I’d highly recommend it if you’re interested in figuring out what CoffeeScript is all about and how you might use it.
