Some programming languages have been around a while—PHP is one of them. It’s been around since 1994! But, just because PHP has been around the block doesn’t mean it’s not useful today. In fact, PHP has made a comeback in recent years, and is now widely used for web development, site design, and building apps.

What is PHP?

PHP stands for “PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor.”
