We have just released a brand new project that teaches you how to make a website! This project focuses on building a portfolio website from the very beginning. If you’ve never built a website before and you have no coding or design experience, this is the place to start.

In this project, we learn how to build a modern portfolio website for desktops, tablets, and mobile devices. We start with basic HTML and CSS syntax. Next, we learn how to build custom web pages with an image gallery and contact page. Finally, we walk through how to share a website live on the web.

I’m looking forward to hearing your feedback about this new project. Enjoy!

  3. This track has been incredibly valuable. This course has really shown a maturation in your teaching style. The entire track was really well thought out for a beginner like myself.

I do have one suggestion. As a marketer, installing Google Analytics on a website provides valuable data. In the future, can you add a section of the lesson plan that involves installing G.A.? I’ve completed the course offered by Google. But, the installation takes place in a vacuum, rather than a fully functional website.

Once again, I can’t thank the team at Treehouse enough for teaching the skills of the 21st century at a very low cost.

      Hi Hashim,

This is a completely new Treehouse project with all fresh content. We build a portfolio website from start to finish. We also use a new Treehouse tool called “Workspaces” which you might find interesting. 🙂 As of this post, it’s only available to students that start taking the course.
