We’ve just launched our new iOS Development course at Think Vitamin Membership. All you need is basic programming knowledge (a bit of JavaScript, PHP, Ruby, etc). You don’t need to know any Objective-C.
We’ll take you all the way from downloading Xcode, to building your first app, to submitting it to the App Store. Five new videos are added every week to this course.
How PHP, Javacript savvy do you need to be to learn xcode?
You’ll need a basic understanding of coding
i like the web!it’s a fashionable band! thank you for sharing!http://www.tiffanysjewelryuk.com/rings
Amazing! It sounds good to be like that.
Nice- very good setup. I was wondering though, why Xcode 3x and not 4? The differences between the two are quite large.
Since we just started the course and are just covering basic topics the IDE does not matter. Before we start teaching building apps that involve views and controllers we will introduce Xcode 4 since it will be the standard going forward.
do you need gold membership or silver to access this course?
You just need a silver membership to access the iOS videos that are currently available, as they are part of our huge video library. However, for more in depth material, you’ll want a gold membership to gain access to our Master Classes.
Do you need to have a mac to use this code
Yes. Xcode is an OSX-only App. There are ways to get iOS apps to compile on Windows, but it’s really for advanced users.
Is there any way to buy access to JUST this?
Trust me, you WANT the other stuff! :p
Thanks Matt! 🙂
Aye, maybe, if I had an interest in learning the other topics that I don’t already know that is provided by thinkvitamin. Unfortunately I just don’t have the time to look into everything thinkvitamin has to offer at the moment, and would like to focus on one thing at a time.
I just wondered if I was missing something, that’s all, like a one course membership! I would instantly sign up, and then perhaps migrate to the upper tiers later on.
My apologies if I sounded offensive/whiny.
Gareth, I get what you are saying, in this day and age time is a limited commodity, sometimes we just want what is in front of us. I would love to purchase a full memebership but jst do not have the time to justify it. A one course option would be great! I think it would also be a good ‘shoe in’ for potential upgraders?
