Every week, new courses and workshops are published to the growing Treehouse Library! Here’s a short list of what we’ve added recently, upcoming course highlights, and our weekly video update of What’s New at Treehouse.

Functions in Swift 3  Pasan Premaratne

In Swift, functions are quite powerful and in this course, we’ll start by taking a look at the syntax and how functions work. Once we have the fundamentals underway, we’ll look at how we can customize our parameter names, add default values and return multiple values from a function call.


Dependency Management with Composer Alena Holligan (26 minutes)

In this course, you’ll learn about packages, dependencies, repositories, and versioning. You’ll be using a PHP tool called Composer for managing all these pieces to work together with our application.

Building Web Apps with Sinatra Jay McGavren (November)

Sinatra is the second-most popular web framework written in Ruby (after Rails). It’s much simpler than Rails, and it’s a great way to try out web development.
