File Handling with PHP– Alena Holligan

PHP can do so much more than include files. In this course we’ll explore reading and writing files from a directory. We’ll also take advantage of built-in parsing functions for working with common file formats to read and write CSV, XML and JSON data.

Debugging JavaScript in the Browser – Joel Kraft (39 minutes)

In this workshop you’ll learn how to use a tool that professionals rely on to get crucial insights into their JavaScript programs: Chrome’s Developer Tools (DevTools). With DevTools, you can get amazing access to the inner workings of your program while it runs, controlling how it executes with fine-grained control. This means that once you learn the DevTools arts, you can find and fix problems in a snap!

Practice Media Queries Guil Hernandez (5 minutes)

In this Workshop you’ll practice writing CSS media queries by adjusting the layout of a simple web page.

Practice CSS Selectors – Guil Hernandez (5 minutes)

In this Workshop, you’ll practice basic CSS selectors by targeting and styling elements of a web page.

Build an Interactive Story App (March)

In this course, you will build a simple choose-your-own-adventure story app, complete with fantastic illustrations. We will model our story and introduce the Model-View-Presenter pattern, and we will learn about getting input from users, displaying images, and using more than one Activity.

Learn the skills you need to become a developer with the Techdegree Program.
