  1. Seems like an awesome course guys!
Question, would this completed mobile app be something you can submit to the app store?

No this is not a native app. It’s a mobile web app. You could use PhoneGap to package it and then submit it to the app store.

I’ve been looking into using PhoneGap to deploy a mobile site I’ve made for a company—how easy is using PhoneGap?

PhoneGap is fairly easy to use and a great way to submit an app to the app store if you want to use web technologies. The above app built using jQuery Mobile can easily be packaged into a native app using PhoneGap and it will be hard to tell that it is not completely native app.
