Do you know what the best indicator for Fall conference season is? It’s not the weather. It’s not the endless hashtags that you need to block. It’s not the empty offices. It’s the Christmas decorations that line the shelves. Seriously. I was shopping last weekend and there were twice as many Christmas decorations as there were decorations for Halloween.
But, enough about that; let’s get back to the topic at hand. The Future Insights World Tour hits 3 countries and 4 cities this fall. That’s 145 sessions, 115+ speakers, 12 workshops, and loads of learning. Let’s dive in.
London, October 15-17
Future of Web Apps is up first with the revamped Future of Mobile conference for 3 comprehensive tracks and twice the content past attendees are used to. “The King of Web Standards” himself, Jeffrey Zeldman, kicks things off to show you how to transcend ancient definitions of design to become a craftsman of end-user experiences in a content-first world. Spend the next 2 days soaking up information about web and mobile apps, networking with hundreds of your fellow peers, and relax knowing that you won’t miss a thing (all attendees will receive access to session videos after the event).
New York City, October 22-24
Future of Web Design takes the stage next (literally, it’s in an off-broadway theater!) to offer the best in the world of web design. If the past and present are any indication of what the future holds, this thing is going to be completely sold out. Three of the four full-day workshops are already sold out, and the last one is going quick. Additionally, FOWD NYC has a few cool pieces: first, we’ve partnered with the popular non-profit clean water organization charity:water to fund a well that will sustain an entire community in the developing world with clean water, and second, we’re giving attendees a chance to get on stage with the first US version of FOWD Factor.
Prague, November 27-29
Las Vegas, December 10-12
And, breaking outside the web world, Future of Mobile Marketing makes its world-debut. In an industry that is seeing explosive growth, this conference will teach attendees how to navigate the mobile marketing lifecycle, covering everything from strategy to execution to analytics. Be sure to tell all your marketing friends!
Lastly, Treehouse readers get an extra 10% off ticket prices. There are a number of attendance options to choose from, so just add the promo code TREEHOUSE when registering online. It’s bound to be a busy fall season, but steer clear of those Christmas decorations and we think you’ll do just fine.
Who is Future Insights anyway?
Before Ryan Carson started Treehouse, he was running an event company for web designers and developers. They produced the Future of Web Apps, Future of Web Design, and Future of Mobile conferences that you may have heard of before, or even attended. Well, Ryan sold that company to focus on Treehouse, and they are now Future Insights.
