Since our launch in November 2011, we’ve been approaching our mission to bring affordable Technology education to our members across the globe through a unique blend of project-based online video tutorials, Code Challenges, quizzes, creative series and more, all taught by our team of expert teachers.
While our online Library has been growing, behind the scenes we have been working on an exciting addition to Treehouse learning. We are now ecstatic to announce that with the help of our friends at Wiley Publishing, we have expanded into print.
Whether you’re a Treehouse member looking for an additional resource to enhance your learning, a web developer or designer looking to brush up your skills, or a career-changer eager to dive into the fascinating world of the web, the Treehouse Series Books will fill your needs. Not only is the content authored by industry experts, but it is approachable and presented in a comprehensive way to accommodate everyone.
Two Treehouse Series titles are available at the moment: HTML5 Foundations by Matt West, and CSS3 Foundations by Ian Lunn. iOS 6 Foundations will be released at the beginning of 2013, and we plan to add more titles later in the year. Once released, the Treehouse Series is primarily available to purchase through the Wiley website, as well as Amazon. The Treehouse Series is available to purchase in full color as either an e-book or paperback.
To celebrate this exciting addition to Treehouse and the end of a fun-filled year, we’re giving away 100 e-copies of CSS3 Foundations, worth $20 each, and 50 paperback copies of HTML5 Foundations, worth $40 each, to the next 150 people who sign up for Treehouse. With limited copies available, be sure to get yours now:
